Skype group video calls with up to 10 sites

Skype has just released a beta version for Windows that can make group video calls with up to 10 people. It is currently available as a free trial.

They say:

You can now use Skype to make group video calls with up to 10 people – letting you bring even more of your family, friends or business together, even if you’re cities or continents apart. Note that everyone in a group video call now needs to be running this version, so if your friends, family or colleagues are using Beta 1, they’ll have to upgrade before you can include them in group video calls.

This version has a new look and improvements have been made to call quality when making group video calls.

I’ve been unable to try it out as I’m a Mac user. Read more here – scroll down to the comments section – apart from all the questions about when a Mac version is coming, there’s some good feedback from people who have been using it. Download it here.
