New Year – New Name

Welcome to 2009! The summer holidays are almost over downunder so it’s time to get back to work – and to blogging.
In 2009 my name change is complete – Carol Skyring. I’ve updated the About page to reflect this. I’ve also started a new personal web space (access through: www.carolskyring.com) which is still taking shape. In this space I’ll have links to all of my ’stuff’ and other information you may not find anywhere else ;->
Happy videoconferencing – I’ll start with the posts in a couple of days.

Hi Carole, I really want to extend our videoconferencing at school. So far, we have just conferenced with other schools using skpye but would love to get some virtual speakers in – like some of the ones you mentioned at VITTA conference. Do you have a list of possible people or do I need to come to you with a topic and then you find someone. Also, I need to get a virtual accounting type speaker or a business person to speak on the current financial crisis or some accounting type topic (that would not cost anything) for our VCE accounting students next Thursday afternoon where small country schools VCE students get together for a VCE study camp at Ballarat uni. Do you have any contacts? Thanks
