Thanks to Roxanne for her reply about the Singing with Shane program. Here’s some more information about the program:

Classes can participate  in grade level songs followed by engaging questions from Shane Howard. He plays his guitar and asks the students questions that pertained to the songs. He sings songs such as the Itsy Bitsy Spider, Wheels on the Bus, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, The Hokey Pokey… He will keep them engaged by changing characters on the monitor like a gorilla, sun, cat, etc… The students join in with hand movements and dancing.

You can watch a longer video which does show the interaction with the class at. And Shane even manages to get teachers up & singing - see more photos like below.

I am getting ready for my workshop in the morning at NECC 2008 in San Antonio and just checked my reader and found this post!

Carol, you really have to see Shane do this with teachers… it is so funny and in our 123VC training he partners with Christina and Rich from Kigluait and it is HILARIOUS when “Rudoloph” and the sled dogs get into their debate about who really pulls Santa’s sleigh!
