Tips for Videoconference Interviews
February 27, 2008 | Tagged Tips |
I’ve seen some videoconference interviews conducted very badly. The panel do not know how to behave in a videoconference interview and the interviewee is often ill-prepared for the videoconference environment.
Below are 2 tips sheets that will help both the interviewer and the interviewee in a videoconference interview.
Download is pdf 84KB each file: vc-tips-interviewees.pdf vc-tips-interviewers.pdf
You can download the series of 7 tips sheets free of charge from the LearnTel website.
Or purchase the eBook Great Videoconference Interviews for $6.95USD

I find it’s also helpful to know some of the terminology related to video conferencing - especially if you are the person in charge of “setting up” the conference.
Here’s a link to a video conferencing glossary: http://www.intercall.com/files/VC_Glossary.pdf
My company (InterCall) provides video conferencing services, equipment and room rentals.
Thanks for that Abby - it’s a great glossary. There’s also a glossary attached to one of the posts on this blog - you’ll find it at:

If that doesn’t work just do a search for glossary in the search box top left of the blog.
