Videoconferencing & Pregnant Mothers

This is a nice little video about how videoconferencing is being used to provide highly specialised real-time care, from a distance, to high risk mothers in Hawaii.

Real-time videoconferencing coupled with teleultrasound is used to provide highly specialized medical care. High-risk mothers-to-be no longer fly in from neighbor islands for routine exams and emergent care for high risk pregnancies.
