Elevate 2008: Call for Presenters

The call for presenters for Elevate 2008 closes on 11 January. So why not spend your break writing a submission.

Proposals should showcase innovative videoconferencing practices relevant to the education system, including interactive presentation elements that engage the audience and link to one or more of the following categories:

  • Course Enhancement
    • Practices or activities involving the use of videoconferencing and a blend of technologies to enhance face-to-face instruction
  • Distance Learning
    • Practices or activities involving the use of videoconferencing and
      a blend of technologies to deliver full courses to remote students
  • Administrative/Professional Development Purposes
    • Practices or activities involving the use of videoconferencing and
      a blend of technologies to hold meetings, deliver professional
      development to staff, or to deliver specialized services to students,
      parents, or school staff (e.g. speech therapy)
  • Technical Support
    • Practices or policies related to the technical aspects of
      videoconferencing (e.g. networking, firewall traversal, and/or
      connectivity/settings solutions, supportive technology support, role of
      technical staff)
  • Content Provider
    • Practices, activities/events, and/or techniques in the development of sound educational content for schools
  • Leadership
    • Leadership practices or policies involving the use of videoconferencing and a blend of technologies

This will be a great conference - the committee have been organising for many months and have lined up some great Keynotes (including moi!). I look forward to seeing you there.
