Sun’s Virtual Workplace (MPK20) allows colleagues to work together in planned meetings, or to talk informally in unplanned encounters.

On any given day, over 50% of Sun’s workforce is remote. MPK20 is a
virtual 3D environment in which employees can accomplish their real
work, share documents, and meet with colleagues using natural voice communication.

This is truly a fusion of telepresence & virtual worlds & shows us a glimpse of the future workplace for many of us. Where will you be while your avatar goes to the office?
