Sea ice research voyage to the Antarctic

Not quite videoconferencing - but too exciting not to post :)

Two Tasmanian teachers, Jane Dobson from Claremont College and Caroline Lapworth from Geeveston District High, will participate in a sea ice research voyage to the Antarctic from 4 September to 17 October 2007.

During the voyage the teachers will be involved with a variety of research projects and will post materials on the voyage website. Teachers and students in Australia and internationally will be able to follow the voyage on a daily basis and undertake associated activities.
